There’s something satisfying about walking into the kitchen in the morning and remembering that breakfast is almost ready with this Overnight Pecan Oatmeal. So, pour yourself a cup of coffee and relax, there’s time to finish making breakfast later.
Overnight Pecan Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons Wutta Nut! Agave Ginger pecan pieces
- 2 cups of milk plus additional 1/4 cup of milk in the morning
- 2 cups of old fashioned rolled oats
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds optional
- ¾ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ of sea salt
- Fresh berries, additional pecan halves or pieces
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in a glass bowl, ensuring all of the oats are coated in the milk.
- Cover and place the bowl in the refrigerator and let soak overnight.
- In the morning, add a splash of milk and stir everything together again.
- Top with additional chopped pecans, fresh berries, a drizzle of pecan butter or maple syrup.
